About
Reach For The Green is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded and led by two minority high school female athletes in action to redefine what it means to be an athlete. We believe sports should be a space of access, empowerment, and belonging. Not privilege, pressure, or silence.
Founded by student-athletes, Reach For The Green exists at the intersection of sports access, mental wellbeing, and representation, creating opportunities for young people-- especially girls and underrepresented youth-- using their personal experiences and passions as a source of confidence, community, and growth.

Our Three Sectors
Reach For The Green focuses on three sectors within their involvement. All initiatives have been stemmed up Jin & Hannah's personal passions and experiences, acknowledging a gap within the field. They led initiative.

First Swings Program
We started First Swings because we know how intimidating and inaccessible golf can feel when you don’t see people like you in the sport, regardless of socioeconomic status.

The Green Room
The Green Room was created from our own experiences with the mental health challenges that come with competing in sports. We create space for connection, awareness, and support.

For Athletes, From Athletes
FAFM was created because we saw how rarely mental health is openly discussed in sports. By bringing professionals into schools and building student-led branches, we create safe, credible spaces for athletes to talk & learn.
